Immigration law firm, Gilton Valeo Lawyers and global workforce advisor, Mark Wright from Globility Group today announced that they have joined forces to meet the increasingly complex cross-border talent mobility demands of business in Australia.
The collaboration is a first for the local immigration advisory industry, where Globility Group will become the exclusive strategic workforce advisor to Gilton Valeo clients in Australia. The alliance, which focusses on supporting the immigration and talent mobility needs of businesses operating in Australia is further evidence that the traditional way corporate immigration services was delivered prior to COVID-19 has evolved significantly as employers have needed to adjust to a rapidly changing workplace and workforce environment.
Mark Wright, the Executive Director of Globility Group will significantly enhance the workforce advisory capabilities of Gilton Valeo. Mr Wright will play a key role in building upon Gilton Valeo’s existing immigration experience and integrating it across the firm’s significant corporate immigration advisory expertise nationally, including Talent Mobility, Immigration Program Management, and Global Mobility.
Describing the watershed agreement with Gilton Valeo Lawyers, Mark Wright stated that “this exclusive relationship is one of a small number of global agreements which Globility Group have established in key talent hub locations worldwide, and the only one of its type in Australia. The agreement is differentiating in two key ways – firstly it will provide Gilton Valeo Lawyers and their clients with exclusive access to Globility Group workforce and workplace insights and expertise in Australia, and secondly our collaboration delivers greater access for mobility and HR professionals to global talent experts to co-design their post-COVID workforce requirements.”
“The business impacts arising from COVID-19 has delivered a seismic disruption to the immigration advisory industry, however, despite the disruption to the immigration industry and the global marketplace, corporate immigration services have remained largely unchanged, and there is therefore an opportunity to differentiate via a refreshed immigration advisory business model,” Mr Wright said of the new collaboration.
“As an immigration partner at a Big 4 accounting firm, it was challenging to balance the demands of leading several large client accounts, and this often translated to not being able to invest the time many of my clients were seeking from me. Joining forces with Gilton Valeo Lawyers means that their expert team of immigration lawyers oversee all aspects of the client’s visa requirements for Australia and New Zealand, which frees me and the Globility Group team to focus on the strategic immigration advisory aspects of the relationship,” added Mr Wright.
