Globility Group is delighted to announce that Kathryn Osborn will be collaborating with our business to assist clients with their global workforce requirements.

The delivery of mobility and immigration advice has been disrupted enormously by COVID-19. When cross-border talent mobility recommences, the dynamics driving immigration and global workforce talent management will look very different to the pre-pandemic world.

Strategic immigration and global workforce assistance are no longer limited to the preparation and lodgement of visa and work permit applications. Immigration is now more focussed on talent attraction, talent retention and talent optimisation.

More than ever, business requires a fusion of technical, operational and insightful guidance on their evolving global workforce requirements as the global community edges closer to a reopening of cross-border travel.

Now is the time for business to prepare for the near future to maximise growth opportunities and to ensure a seamless transition to the new global operating environment.

Kathryn has extensive experience working with organisations to create and/or transform, their Global Workforce programs to ensure an agile, future focused approach to managing workforce mobility.

Led by a design-thinking and insights driven approach, Kathryn has been in the Global Mobility industry for 13 years, with experience of both mobility consulting and in-house mobility roles (in the FMCG and Professional Services sectors). Kathryn has worked in the UK, China and Australia.

Mark Wright, the Executive Director of Globility Group, has worked extensively with Kathryn in a Big 4 Professional Services Firm, where they jointly delivered transformational change to businesses of all sizes across multiple industry sectors.

Kathryn and Mark will partner with organisations to overcome their business and talent challenges, advising on strategy, service delivery, policy and process, employee experience and digital approaches.

The ability to deliver insightful advice to clients depends on the capacity of advisors to think and see beyond the horizon. Globility Group thinks differently to deliver a transformational approach to helping business navigate in these times of uncertainty.

Our approach is client-centred, and the workforce management strategy deployed is built around the precise requirements of each business and its ecosystem.

Examples of how Globility Group can assist include the following areas:

  • Assistance to entities who are looking to open or expand an entity in a global market.

  • Government relations assistance, including host country immigration policy negotiation, design and delivery, and global workforce planning and strategy.

  • Training of company mobility and immigration in-house professionals.

  • Review of existing immigration and global workforce management policies and practices to align with future operating environments and priorities.

  • Workplace Lab. This includes a customised design and delivery of an interactive lab (virtual or in-person) focussing on operational and strategic areas of your business including immigration, workforce mobility, employee experience, compliance and corporate governance. Depending on the specific needs of each business, suitably qualified and experienced advisors will be invited to the lab covering areas such as taxation, talent management, and workforce planning.

  • Strategies to design and deploy productivity focussed virtual mobility and remote work arrangements.  Increasingly this forms part of a company's workforce strategy and is increasingly being designed as part of the organisation’s wellness program. Kathryn and Mark bring extensive experience and insights to this evolving area and deliver a future focused approach to managing workforce mobility.
